SG-1 marathon!
I'm half-ass watching the SG-1 marathon on Sci-Fi. Unfortunately, they're not only all episodes I've seen, they're almost all episodes that I have on DVD. The only ones are the two-parters from season 6 (which I don't have because it's the season without Daniel Jackson, and I find Jonas Quinn annoying).
I watched "The Fifth Race" because it's one of those you just can't ever get tired of. I also watched "Lost City" and its companion for 3 reasons: they are trying to find Atlantis, and I love tie-ins to what becomes Atlantis; Dr. Weir is in it (although Jessica Steen plays her in "Lost City," and I like Torri Higginson much better); and the fight scenes are awesome (not to mention that they blow Anubis straight out of the damn sky).
I've given up on watching until that season 6 two-parter, though, because I was actually cleaning the house. I've almost completely finished the dishes, and I just started the laundry. The house looks great now, and soon everything will be clean enough to be up to my standards.
Listening to music always makes me go faster, so I started with Steely Dan, then progressed to the Eagles and Billy Joel, but now I'm stuck on STP and Velvet Revolver (who have the same lead singer). My boyfriend Kris is over at a friend's house, which I'm kind of grateful for. If he were here, my chances of watching SG-1 go way down. He used to really like the show, but he says I over-watch it and that ruins it. I disagree. Watching something only once isn't sufficient to notice all of the subtleties in the episode. Just for the record, I've also ruined M*A*S*H (the movie) and Firefly for him.
Well, back to work. McKay and Mrs. Miller next Friday!
And now, Family Guy:
"Cigarettes killed my father and raped my mother."
